Bustling upbeat vibe, low ceilings and decor give it an old style feeling which is appealing and different. Food is good. Service was fast and friendly. Our server Funda has been working there for eleven years and recommended the battered haddock, which was an excellent choice. Be prepared to pay central London prices 22 for large fish and chips but thoroughly enjoyed. ”

We ordered the regular-sized cod and the large haddock, accompanied by Fentimans lemonade and cream soda. The haddock had a more distinctive flavor, with a thicker and more flavorful skin. The cod’s batter was crispier and thicker. The accompanying fries were home-style and fresh. The Fentimans lemonade resembled homemade lemonade—tart and delicious. The cream soda had a delightful vanilla-like aroma that made me want to have it again. The service was good, and the waitstaff were polite. I believe this place’s high rating is well-deserved, reflecting the hot and fresh a la carte meals they offer. ”
